Dear Alumni & Friends,
With 2011 well underway, we hope that everyone is adjusting to the new year. The Association has been busy hosting Student Recognition Programs (SRP) honoring prospective students, Tiger pre-game parties, facilitating Tiger Chapters, and attending to legislative matters affecting higher education in Topeka, especially those issues impacting Fort Hays State. Many more events are planned in the coming months as we serve you throughout 2011 and beyond.
In the world of connectivity and the ever growing desire for on-line interaction, our intent is to utilize social networking accounts and our website more to interact and bring you the latest and greatest in Tiger news. As stated in the FHSU-TigerTalk January issue, the alumni website is under construction behind the scenes. But until its release later this year, we want you, our alumni, to submit Valentine pictures via Twitter.com, Facebook.com or email to alumni@fhsu.edu of you and your Valentine. By mid-month, the pictures will be compiled into a slide show presentation for all to enjoy. PLUS, all entries will be placed into a drawing for Tiger merchandise. It's simple as can be, so show your Tiger pride and join in the fun! Click Here for full details and How-To.
As always, we look forward to serving you, hearing from you and working with you as we support Fort Hays State University on the great plains of western Kansas. We hope that you'll also support us and future Tigers by joining us at an upcoming SRP or the FHSU Valentine Button Day held in the Capitol City on February 14. Also, if not already a paid alumni member, please continue advancing your membership and gain great benefits. These are just some of the many opportunities for you to stay involved with the FHSU Alumni Association. Stay warm, and stay in touch!
Forever in Tiger Spirit,
FHSU Alumni Association
