Dear friends,
With this issue, we wish to take a moment to reflect on our nation’s history as we commemorate and celebrate our independence. We honor our forefathers and the many visionaries that have helped the United States of America become what it is today. We salute all those currently defending our nation, and we memorialize all those lost in the ultimate sacrifice of our freedom’s pursuit. Thank you!
The 20th of June officially marked the beginning of summer, and with it we have now begun to feel its full effect as the scorching hot temperatures continue to climb. Business at the alumni office is just as hot as we finalize Homecoming reunion and festivities plans, as well as prepare to host alumni and development colleagues for an annual MIAA Conference later this month. The gathering affords us the opportunity to interact with other schools and discover new programs and ideas to assist us in serving you, our alumni family and friends!
Have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July, enjoy the coming weeks full of ever-popular county fairs and carnivals, and don’t forget to attend a Tiger gathering near you!
Best wishes and Happy Independence!
