Welcome summer! Wheat harvest is in full swing around Fort Hays State University and from the vantage point of the Robbins Center, nestled near the 183 Bypass, we can see a steady parade of trucks and combines.

These same trucks and combines signal the time to wrap up plans for Homecoming 2010: The Year of the Tiger, September 30 through October 3. Work is currently progressing on the Homecoming brochure scheduled to be released via the postal service by the end of the month. Watch your mailbox closely for the schedule of events and your chance to register for these events and reunions. It promises to be a great time of camaraderie for everyone!

Scheduled events for the FHSU Alumni Association this month include a Sigma Alpha Epsilon Reunion on July 9-10, Tiger Day at the Kansas City T-Bones on July 18, Tiger Happening Party in Salina on August 5th, Tiger Tuesday in Wichita on August 10th, Tigers Headin' to the State Fair in Hutchinson on September 13th, and the FHSU Boothill/JJ Powerline Golf Tournament in Dodge City on September 18th. Further details about both of these events can be found in this e-newsletter or by going to www.goforthaysstate.com.
