Dear Alumni & Friends,
The FHSU Alumni Association certainly hit the ground running this year. Already we have begun the annual line up of Student Recognition Programs. Many high school students from
Garden City, Dodge City, Great Bend, Phillipsburg, Wichita, Salina and Beloit have already been recognized for their achievements. We look forward to having their sharp minds and enthusiastic personalities on campus this fall. SRP’s still to come are Holdrege, Neb., on Feb. 8, Kansas City and Topeka on Feb. 14, Colby on Feb. 15, Denver on Feb. 21 and rounding out the series will be Hays on Feb. 22.
In mid February, look for FHSU representatives at the Capitol in Topeka for the annual “Button Day.” It is a day when we share the good news of FHSU with Kansas lawmakers and show them how much we appreciate all they do for the University.
On the horizon, another Ellis and surrounding counties event has been scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28. This time Tiger fans can meet and greet members of the FHSU band, the FHSU Tiger Debs, the FHSU Cheerleaders and Victor E. Tiger. The event is set to take place in the Eagle room of the Robbins Center, campus.
For those of you connected with the Half-Century Club please mark your calendar for the annual spring reception on April 23. Watch your mail for further details!
Forever in Tiger Spirit,
FHSU Alumni Association
