The Robbins Center, home of the Alumni Association and the FHSU Foundation, provides 28,900 square-feet of office space, meeting rooms, a catering kitchen, art gallery, business center, and an outdoor garden center. Named after head donors W.R. "Bill" and Yvonne Robbins of Great Bend, the center was funded entirely by private donations from more than 1,000 alumni and friends.
The Alumni Awards Program presents accomplished alumni, friends, students and faculty with awards in honor of their achievements and/or services.
The Records Information System maintains and updates more than 84,769 records of graduates, former students, and friends of the university. Addressable records include 47,324 Kansas residents, 24,210 other U.S. residents, and additional records found in approximately 71 foreign countries.
Alumni meetings are held in numerous cities annually to inform FHSU alumni and friends of university events.
The Legislative Support Network was established to serve as an advocacy network to build relationships with state decision-makers in order to develop greater appreciation and support for FHSU.
Student Recognition Program (SRP) receptions are an alumni and admission effort. In 2009, a total of 616 prospective students, plus 933 parents and guests, attended the 13 SRPs located throughout Kansas, Holdrege, Neb., and Denver, Colo.
The Student Alumni Association was disbanded in the Fall of 2008, and was replaced by the student organization, Tigers4Life. Tigers4Life offers its members the opportunity to "show off their true FHSU colors" through networking opportunities and career-enhancing events that help bridge the gap between current FHSU students and FHSU Alums. Past events have included FHSU alumni panels who share valuable post-graduation and career information ranging from proper attire to interview skills and salary negotiating. In addition, an Etiquette dinner was held in which members learned about the many manners necessary to possess and exhibit at professional dinners and/or in every day life.
Other programs and services include the FHSU Magazine; Graduate and Faculty Brunch; State of Kansas Tiger License Tags; Half-Century Club; Homecoming and Commencement activities; Legislator Appreciation Day; Lewis Field Club; Tiger Credit Card Program; Lifetime E-mail Forwarding; FHSU e-cards; Global Travel Program; FHSU-TigerTalk, the electronic newsletter designed to bring the latest FHSU news to alumni and friends; and the Tiger Online Directory.
