The Fort Hays State University Alumni Association is pleased to announce the "Tag! You're It!" State of Kansas educational license tag program.

Fort Hays Staters can now tell everyone on the road not just where they are from, but where their heart is, by purchasing an official state of Kansas Tiger tag! 

FHSU Alumni and friends simply complete the application form by clicking the "Order Online" button below, and the Alumni Association will issue a tag certificate to purchase an official Tiger tag. For the first year, a special plate issuance fee of $45.50 must be paid to the county treasurer along with $3.00 registration fee. This fee validates the tag for five years, provided the logo royalty and applicable tax and registration fees are paid each year. Each year simply pay the $30.00 Tiger license tag royalty payment to the Association, which provides funding for the betterment of FHSU Students, and you will receive a tag certificate to renew your Tiger tag at your county treasurer along with paying your regular annual vehicle registration fees. This donation, minus a small administrative fee, will be added to the FHSU's alumni generational scholarship fund and programs in recognition of student achievements.

Tag numbers are consecutive numbers issued at random. The state of Kansas does not allow education license plates to be personalized or put on motorcycles. Each year, approximately 60 days prior to your annual tag renewal due date, the Association will send you a notice to pay your annual tax-deductible $30.00 royalty payment to the Alumni Association.

All Fort Hays State University Tiger alumni, students, parents, fans and friends who are Kansas residents are eligible to apply.  If you own or lease a passenger vehicle or truck, or if the vehicle has a gross weight of 12,000, 16,000 or 20,000 pounds, you qualify for a Tiger Tag.  This program provides one plate per vehicle.
