Commencement Attendance
All July 2009 graduates who did not participate in the 2009 ceremony are eligible to participate in 2010, as well as all December 2009 graduates, May 2010 candidates and those July 2010 candidates who have filed an Intent to Graduate form.  We urge all those eligible to participate.

Names and Honors in Commencement Program
All July 2009 and December 2009 graduates and May 2010 candidates will be listed in the Commencement program, with honors noted where appropriate.  There is no honors distinction for graduate students.  Student’s names and honors will be read at Commencement from the name card, which will be issued at cap and gown distribution.  Names of July 2010 candidates will not be printed in the program until Commencement 2011, but names will be read as candidates cross the stage.  The listing of honors in the program is not a guarantee of receiving honors.  The official honor awarded will be noted on the student’s diploma and transcript.  Students who do not wish to have their names included in the Commencement program should inform Dr. Tisa Mason, Vice President for Student Affairs, Sheridan Hall 208, in writing, no later than Friday, April 2, 2010.

Commencement Photos
Photographers from Chappell Graduation Images, Fairfield, IA, will take individual pictures as each graduate crosses the stage and at the stage exit ramp.  Proofs and forms for ordering will be mailed by Chappell Graduation Images to each candidate after Commencement.  Please allow up to 5 business days for mailing.  There is no obligation to purchase pictures.  Individuals who wish to take personal pictures may do so from an area designated on either side of the stage.

It is requested that individuals refrain from taking pictures in front of the stage and on the arena floor aisles where candidates are seated as this disrupts the flow of traffic for the candidates in the Commencement ceremony.
