On the plains of Western Kansas, stands a school we all love well. ‘Twas built by the toil of fathers, to its glory our voices swell.
Hail to Fort Hays State, let your voices ring. Praise for the black and gold, we will ever sing. Long may our valor last, through the future days. Honoring and praising, dear Fort Hays.
In the years that lie before us, we forsee our land's many needs. Through the efforts of new generations we'll go on to more noble deeds.
